after 4 months off, picked up where left off when last seen, better placed this time and able to resume winning ways back at 1m; mid-field, progress out wide entering straight, led under pressure 2f out, kept going well; he's not had much racing for one his age and should have more to offer.

strong in the betting, shaped well back in a hood after 8 months off, adding to a good record when fresh, this not the first time he's shown enough to think he's up to defying this sort of mark; prominent, typically took strong hold, shaken up 2f out, every chance final 1f, no extra.

Little reason to think this won't prove to be strong form, the winner shaping up well when last seen and pulling clear with a pair that both look to be on handy marks, that trio ahead of one on a 5-timer.

ALREHB (USA) after 4 months off, picked up where left off when last seen, better placed this time and able to resume winning ways back at 1m; mid-field, progress out wide entering straight, led under pressure 2f out, kept going well; he's not had much racing for one his age and should have more to offer.

DIDEROT strong in the betting, shaped well back in a hood after 8 months off, adding to a good record when fresh, this not the first time he's shown enough to think he's up to defying this sort of mark; prominent, typically took strong hold, shaken up 2f out, every chance final 1f, no extra.

COURT OF SESSION again ran well, previous comments about him being able to defy this mark still applying; handy, ridden when bumped 2f out, kept on, pulled clear of remainder.

ZEALOT had winning run ended upped in grade, always on the back foot after a typically tardy start but making up enough ground to think he's worth another chance at this level; slowly into stride, raced well off the pace, headway on inner under 2f out, carried head bit awkwardly, never nearer.

TOTHENINES (IRE) wasn't disgraced tackling 1m for the first time; dwelt, waited with, progress over 2f out, forced to switch approaching final 1f, one paced.

CONSERVATIVE (IRE) might have needed the run on first outing since leaving Freddie & Martyn Meade after 5 months off; chased leader, every chance under 2f out, not quicken.

DARK PINE (IRE) found this an inadequate test on his return from 10 months off; reared leaving stalls, held up, outpaced entering straight, merely plugged on.

PERSEVERANTS (FR) after 3 months off, ran to a fair level; mid-field, in touch early in straight, faded.

COUNSEL in first-time hood, wasn't in the same form as last time; led, took keen hold, headed around 2f out, weakening when short of room final 1f.

CLIFFS OF CAPRI went backwards from reappearance; mid-field, driven soon after halfway, made no impression.

HAFEET ALAIN (IRE) failed to build on the promise of last run; waited with, brief headway 2f out, beaten approaching final 1f.
