has gone from strength to strength this season, taking the step up to listed company in his stride here (without usual cheekpieces), producing a success every bit as convincing as his handicap win last time; chased leaders, travelled smoothly, led 1f out, driven clear, edged right late on; this was a performance bordering on high-class, and one that has connections mulling over whether to supplement him for the Champions Sprint at Ascot next weekend, likely to go there with a leading chance should that be the case.

A one-sided affair as Make A Challenge quickly put the race to bed once taking the lead, simply in a different league to these rivals on the day and very much on the fast track to Group company.
