turned the tables with Dramatic Queen from York even though that rival had the run of things and she's progressing all the time; never far away, shaken up 3f out, led inside final 1f, dug deep under pressure, showed a good attitude; this wasn't the strongest of renewals of this race and her best opportunity of a Group 1 win might well come abroad.

couldn't quite confirm superiority from York with Enbihaar over this shorter trip but ran at least as well on form and is a very game filly; made running, shaken up over 2f out, headed inside final 1f, kept on, gave all.

who wore a hood only in the preliminaries, failed to justify strong market but probably would've benefited from a stronger pace; in touch, headway 3f out, chased leaders approaching final 1f, one paced; she may benefit from a return to 1¾m.

The fact there was no 3-y-o representation at all in this year's Lancashire Oaks was a little disappointing but, nevertheless, this looks an up-to-scratch renewal of what traditionally isn't the strongest of Group 2s; the pace was on the steady side and the first 2 were always leading or close up.

ENBIHAAR (IRE) turned the tables with Dramatic Queen from York even though that rival had the run of things and she's progressing all the time; never far away, shaken up 3f out, led inside final 1f, dug deep under pressure, showed a good attitude; this wasn't the strongest of renewals of this race and her best opportunity of a Group 1 win might well come abroad.
