made the most of a good opportunity under optimum conditions, looking as good as he ever has, gaining a second pattern win and taking his career strike rate to an impressive 50% (7 wins from 14 starts); prominent, travelled strongly, led over 1f out, forged clear; he's disappointed in a couple of Group 1's previously but connections might be keen to have another crack at the top level if conditions are very testing.

backed up the improvement from Newbury last month, handling the heavy ground and doing all he could up against a very talented rival under these conditons; mid-division, travelled well, tracked pace 3f out, chased leader entering final 1f, kept on but no match for winner; this was only his sixth start and he remains with some potential, especially with a view to going back up in trip (too lit up when tried over further at Royal Ascot but has settled well both starts since).

ran well after 9 weeks off, matching his winning form from earlier in the season, no easy task against older horses for the first time in what is a strong race for the grade; led, shaken up 2f out, headed over 1f out, one paced.

A good Group 3, won by Addeybb who's having a good season and has previously won at an even higher level, and it was 2 smart, lightly-raced 3-y-o's that chased him home; Raise You ensured a sound pace and they all came stands side in the straight.
