hails from a yard that's going better now than for a long time and improved a bit more to win for a second time over fences; patiently ridden, crept closer back straight, chased leader entering straight, jumped on 3 out, in command after, pushed out; he's a likeable type and is developing into a useful chaser at around this trip, the sort that'll pay his way in his second season over fences, too.

hails from a yard that won this in both 2018 & 2019 and wasted no time getting back to form, wisely ridden to make use of his stamina back down in trip, giving his all and seemingly just beaten by a slightly better one at the weights under the conditions; made running, headed 3 out, stayed on.

was back down in trip and made to look short of finishing speed, though his jumping wasn't overly convincing, either, not really making mistakes but hardly that secure; held up, not always fluent, took closer order twelfth, shaken up 4 out, one paced.

is clumsy and will probably always be clumsy, some effort to actually stay on his feet given the severity of some of his mistakes in the closing stages; close up, jumped sketchily, weakened approaching 4 out; he's got the ability to win races from this sort of mark, but backing him to do so comes with considerable risks.

A couple of the market leaders failed to show their form on of jumping issues, but it's reasonable to assume Informateur found a bit of improvement to record his first win in a handicap chase, not for the first time impressing as a solid jumper.
