sporting different colours than when runner-up here on debut, backed up that effort and then some, clearly comfortable in this grade; chased leaders, second 1f out, no extra and only run out of a place near the line; looks a banker for a maiden at the very least.

With Cadillac - short-priced favourite at the time - a late withdrawal and just 2 lengths between the first 6 home, it seems safe to assume that this was just an average renewal of this Group 3 and, as in the preceeding Silver Flash, not too many got into it, Military Style making all to maintain Aidan O'Brien's stranglehold on this particular prize.

MILITARY STYLE (USA) showed much improved form and a willing attitude to resume winning ways, though was seen to something like maximum effect on the day; made running, ridden entering straight, all out to hold on; is well entered up and further improvement can't be ruled out.
