Not a very competitive affair in the end, the first 2 clearly going best from around 2f out, Primo's Comet doing enough to go one better than for a couple of recent near misses.

PRIMO'S COMET resumed winning ways on the back of a couple of recent near misses, making the most of a pretty uncompetitive contest for the grade; mid-field, travelled fluently, headway out wide 2f out, led 1f out, kept on.

THE THIN BLUE LINE (IRE) ran well with the run of things against the rail; led, pushed along 2f out, headed final 1f, kept on, well positioned.

FIREBOMB was below form, looking a hard ride; prominent, went with little fluency, hung badly right, held when short of room final 1f, weakened.

TANASOQ (IRE) followed a below-par effort with an even worse one; went with little fluency, always behind.
