SAVVY VICTORY (IRE) stepped up on reappearance run, unable to repeat his win in this race last year but probably matching that performance form-wise; soon steadied, going well when not clear run over 2f out, good headway over 1f out, no extra only late on.

LION'S PRIDE after 3 months off, again couldn't get near his standout piece of form, the combination of surface and trip probably not ideal; slowly into stride, held up, effort under 3f out, edged right final 1f, plugged on.

PRAGUE (IRE) showed that his big-price debut success was absolutely no fluke, acquitting himself well in the face of a much stiffer task less than 3 weeks on, unsurprisingly still not the finished article, either; chased leader, not settle fully, went on over 3f out, edged right around 2f out, headed over 1f out, kept on.

CHECKANDCHALLENGE is yet to fire this season; dropped out, hung right from 3f out, made little impression.

KNIGHT (IRE) back in headgear, probably isn't a 1¼m horse but seems to be being held back by attitude shortcomings over and above stamina ones; led, raced freely, headed over 3f out, carried head high and dropped away under 2f out, eased off; no longer worth a rating.
